I assume this issue is not just experienced by monks but by any caster - its simply when monking where I am finding the problem to be excessive and interfering with gameplay.

I monk a lot, and after the 10/25 update the camera started spinning to face the caster target. Maybe not so much an issue if you happen to be clearly at the back of the group with everyone ahead of you, but if you arent, the camera spins all around to face your target each time you cast, which can often be every few seconds. Its quite awful if players are both in front of you and behind. The camera will also force rotate into really awkward positions if you are standing up against a wall or something - positions that you previously werent even able to manually rotate it into before the update.

There was a topic right after the update about this, but its gone and I cannot find it now. Many posted that they experienced the same problems, but I think at the time, the focus of the forum was squarely on the subject of other aspects of that update, namely mob aggro.

Can we (I assume its not just me) get a response from Anet if this is indeed a bug that they will look into and fix?

The camera only started to work this way since the update and its not a listed "improvement." The casting movement sesitivity appears to have been addressed (thank you) but this has not. I logged in a day or two ago to monk a little and check it, but it still happens. I really want to know if this will be fixed. Many thanks.

lol nice. I will have a look since I wasnt on yesterday or for a while really (except a couple days ago to check specifically that) and somehow missed that notice. Huh. I win points for observation I guess. :P

Thanks for the reply my friend, and thanks to Anet if its indeed working again (and I trust it is). I'll have a happy monk once again. ^^

It wasn't just casters having this problem, my warrior was nearly made permenantly dizzy from that stupid friggin auto-centering-camera.
And every time I try to stop the camera it cancels whatever action my war is doing at the time, even regular melee attacks get canceled.
